Freakin Related Channels...

I gain 20-30 subs per day since the layout switch, and it says it's from "suggested channels" in analytics.
I for one plan on keeping it there!
Well you DO have over 4,000 subs, if I had that many, I would most likely keep it there too.

I think I'd still do it. I understand what you're saying is happening on your channel, but I wouldn't want to risk not showing somewhere else if I had the opportunity to. Hey, maybe folks would think I was actually in with Smosh and Rihanna! LOL! It wouldn't hurt!:wavespin:

Yea dats true. I guess it wouldn't hurt, I wish I could get some more down to earth people though. That actually need more subs.

Put it this way...
Maybe that's what Youtube is trying to clean up. If they are doing their channel with some quality, then they are going to end up there no matter what. Many channels that quote "need subs" aren't doing anything to get them outside of asking for sub4sub or leaning on the work of other and showing up in featured tabs. Don't get me wrong, I know the latter is basically networking, but I'v experienced users that I've agreed to place them in my tab of featured channels if they do the same and then later, as I was checking out youtube, I see they haven't uploaded a video in over 3-4 weeks! I'm like, you're coming off, but then who knows, somewhere between like 40-50% of my subscribers already subscribed to them! Now, that's a waste!

I only get one large channel in my recommended box. YouTube keeps pushing two small channels with 3 subs each and another with 177 subs. The recommended channels are different for everyone, but it appears YouTube doesn't have any issues pimping out smaller channels based on what I've seen.
