Im sorry but @SomeGuyDude is right... he's not being rude lol, hes making a good point. Also this is a public forum so its not "your" thread. You posted a thought to the world, and you dont have control over the responses. Read over what hes saying again and maybe you'll understand it.
The problem between myself and this user is none of your business. Butt out.

If it´s between you two, then message him instead of going off track in the thread!

To get back on track:
I do it for both the fun and money, it´s fun to do it, and to get the money to keep having fun!

i do it for fun, i was that guy in high school always looking for laughs and giggles so i decided to take it a step further nd start youtubin

I've been wondering something for a little while now... do the majority of youtubers make videos for fun or in hopes of becoming rich and famous?

What about you?
Do you do it for the money?
Do you frown on those who do or do not?

I think it depends on what they want to achieve.
Some wants to get known for their creativity.
Some wants to get Famous so they can get notice by producers (example: JB, Jessie etc)
Some just wants to have fun and share the joy.
Some use it for their business purpose to promote their product.

For me.. I do it for Challenge! I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and also expand my creativity to see what I can create.

Would I do it for the money? Again it depends if this is what I want to do infuture. I cannot predict what would happen and our mindset is always changing.
But for now... nope, I am not in for the money.

I believe everyone has their own goals and achievement on what they want to do in the youtube industry. It is their choice.
Since youtube allowed videos to be monetize, I don't see why is is not right for anyone to do it for money if they want to.
They're not doing it illegally.

If you do it for money then you won't get anywhere, but if you do it for fun and for your own enjoyment its way better because you enjoy the experience a lot more.

to become a big youtuber would be EPIC, but let's face reality, few of us gonna make it, BUT, if u have fun and make content AS IF you were a big youtuber sure helps out ALOT, make content on a regulair basis, do youre best and make progress, and communicate with your current subs, and you are pretty sure to make ALOT of subs, but it takes alot of work, some make it over 2 months, some make it in 2 years, those who make it "over night" are usually someone with a VERY unique video(s) and those type of videos, in most cases happends by accident :p

I used to play ALOT guitar, then I started full time job and played less, when I started my youtube channel I kinda promised to upload on a regulair basis, so it is both for fun AND to kik myself in the but and forcing myself to make sh*t happend:) making a profit of doing it, kinda comes third :P
