Haha, I know with my number of subs/views it really doesn't matter in that sense, but it's a personal promise and I hate the thought that I'll be breaking the commitment I made to myself. :S
I myself dont have a schedule but I try to upload every week I never missed a week until last week Iwent 2 weeks without posting and my latest vid hasnt even broken 50 views Iin 5 days. I dont think anyone should officially declare a sschedule until they are sure they are ready for it.
It does, but the quality's pretty horrible compared to my D700. The thing is, my style of videos is basically sketches/scripted vlogs, so it's not like I can film myself on vacation and upload it, cause then it wouldn't fit in with the rest of my vids. For that exact reason then, you need to find a way to make it work. Does your cellphone take video?
Haha! I've been sticking to mine very tightly since I started (it may not seem so, cause I deleted one or two which I'm not too happy about haha).i havea very loose definition of a schedule. it's "I post every Thursday, +/- 3 days" I'm usually off by a day or too (when I feel like editing mounds of footage, lol) you don't want to see me on my bad day![]()

I recently started using a schedule, and I try to stick to it as much as possible. If you're not feeling up to pre-recording videos before you leave, don't worry about it. I'm sure your viewers won't mind.

So fingers crossed but I'm sure your viewers won't mind if you miss a couple of days. Just let them know!
Maybe leave your subs a message saying there will be a new video as soon as you can make one!
