Following a Schedule...?

Hey guys! I have a schedule where I upload videos every wednesday and sunday, but I'm going to be out of town the next two weeks and I'm feeling crazy uninspired at the moment, so I don't think I'll be able to pre-film everything before I leave.

Do you guys follow your schedules (if you have one) super strictly? Or do you miss days occasionally?

I've been trying to post new videos every weekend, though my rants could be at any time since something rant-worthy might happen at any time and simply can't wait for the weekend. I never really announced it, but I've been doing it steadily for a month or so, so I hope some of the fans have started to notice. I also try to schedule stuff weeks in advance if I forsee that particular weekend as being too busy for me.

With your current following with subs/views I believe you'll be okay.

Haha, I know with my number of subs/views it really doesn't matter in that sense, but it's a personal promise and I hate the thought that I'll be breaking the commitment I made to myself. :S

I don't set a schedule for this exact reason.

On the other hand, if I did set a schedule I would most definitely stick to it. I'd feel like I'd broken a promise or something if I didn't.

Not to mention if you don't do a video, you won't have a vid up for 1 and a half weeks, which is hard on the subs

That's exactly what it feels like and it feels real bad. :S Just don't know how I can film 4 videos in 2 days...

I try to just upload whenever I can, I try to shoot for daily but sometimes the weekends don't allow me to do so, so I end up missing a day but yeah just upload when you can

Everyone falls off of schedule sometimes, its natural it won't be such a problem

I feel it kinda overboard when the big time youtubers even apologize if they missed a vid or two on their schedules. We get it. You have a life. The fans should understand. It's not their world ends if so and so didn't post a new vid that certain Monday. The fans shouldn't be that pathetic.

I recently started using a schedule, and I try to stick to it as much as possible. If you're not feeling up to pre-recording videos before you leave, don't worry about it. I'm sure your viewers won't mind.
