On the a small screen.. Even unfocused looks epic.. but you need to think.. we dont whatch things on such small screens.. i think the best thing to do is get an external monitor phone size or bigger ( i use a 22 inch PC screen :p
What DSLR do you have?

I honestly have never used a camera with one because our DSLR doesn't have it. However I think it would be a great addition, especially when your putting the camera in weird positions and you need to see the screen. I do agree with you though, an external monitor is always a good thing to have.

I actually think i'ts very handy. Especially when you're out making photo's. You don't have to get on your knees so fast, when you want to take photo from a low perspective.

There is a test made, its not about the machine you use to make photos, its about what glass you use ;)
Oh definitely! We used to just use the kit lens for all our videos, but then we upgraded to a 50mm prime F1.4. The difference in quality is mind blowing! Also it's not about what camera you have, it's about how you use it. :)

and who is using it... imagine a dog behind it xD AND ALSO HOW YOU EDIT IT!

Basically everytime I try to record myself with my Canon EOS Rebel T3i, I can't seem to focus on my face, because the camera lens is out of reach. How do you guys do this? And has anyone else had this problem?

sounds like you bought a dslr before understanding them. it depends if your auto or manually focusing, whether or not you're trying to move around and how you camera tracks... through contrast or if it uses semi-translucent mirror tech.
