First look at the new youtube channel design

My thoughts are here:

To summarize, no more channel creativity and every channel will now look the same -__-

As far as I`m aware both types of partners will now be allowed to have clickable (html code) in their banner :p
 
I think this is going to mean that a less people are going to join networks. A lot, and I mean a lot was joining for clickable banners. I'm not saying if this is a good thing, a bad thing or nothing. But it is sure going to be interesting how this all shakes out.

after youtube nearly invested 1B into networks this year I`ve no idea wth they then went and did this...

The only features I didn't have is the clickable banner, maybe more money (I won't know until I see some figures), and maybe more protection from the whims of adsense/google. To put it out there, if had this happened last week I might not have joined a network. I'll tell you this Shane, networks are going to have to come up with more incentives to get more members and keep current members when contracts start to expire thanks to YouTube. There will be a lot of good conversation today, that's for sure. lol

Well Vultra being mostly a gaming network still has the licenses that gaming channels need, and actually we have some new extras ;)

I will say how it is and that's just my opinion. This is s**t.
If it's going to stay all white like that, you can't even have a background, needless to say it was fun creating them, then this is just unbelievable -beeeeeeeeep- :banghead2:
And I'm not even gonna start talking about the banner.
Sad there is no better site for video uploading than Youtube, because they are acting like complete morons.

On a more positive note - this will make a GREAT rant video :sneaky2:
