Final Cut Pro X

Hey Guys Vider Here

this may come as a strangeness to everyone but I use a program called final cut pro 10 to do gaming videos and they actually turn out really nice but don't worry I don't play on a mac I use a PC and a Mac and you are probably thinking why?

I did a course which taught me the ins and outs of final cut pro then I got a mac and use both of them the PC to play and record the games and the mac to render them and it is so fun but can be stressful cause of time of moving them over lol

If anyone has a mac and wants to do gaming videos or videos in general use final cut pro X cause it is a fantastic program :)

I second this, it's a very powerful editor that can do alot!
 
Final Cut Pro X gets a lot of flack from people who are more familiar with Premiere, FCP7, Avid, etc.

And there are a few things that FCPX can't do well. But I've found it to be remarkably fast for almost every purpose you would have for YouTube.

I love my final cut pro x! It is THE BEST editing program, I kinda like the more iMovie like interface, I don't like Final Cut 7 as it looks more like Adobe premier. I hate premier. :p

Same here, I have a whole bunch of goodies planned for that. If you need help with the program, I reccomend gisikw's other channel gisikwTeaches which has some FCPX tutorials that are really useful![DOUBLEPOST=1370303760,1370303719][/DOUBLEPOST]

The problem with Final Cut Pro X is that it's not for professional editing. It's significiantly less powerful than most programs out there. This would be like Sony Vegas coming out with Sony Vegas X which has the same features as Windows Movie Maker..
 
If you want more complex editing, Final Cut X isn't the best, I think that's why quite a few people are annoyed at it, coming from older FC versions I imagine they were expecting something better..then they dumbed it down and it got backlash.
