Well he gets 160M views a month and lets say 90M of those are monetizable , then take Maker`s average network CPM of $6, 90M / 1000 * 6 = $54,000 a month average, of course it might be around 30,000 in january and go up to about 100,000 in December, that`s still alot,
Sorry forgot that also has to go through his 90/10 split with TGS ;)

And note he is also paid by sponsors and by promotion deals , t-shirt sales etc
 
I've noticed that people tend to go for the pretty/handsome people on YouTube. People like desandnate and mychonny.

The thing about Pewdie and Tobuscus is that they do it purely for the money. They think it's a 'job' and not something you should enjoy doing. Pewdie keeps saying "I love all my bro's" but in the mean time he doesn't care sh**. It bothers me that they both try to manipulate their viewers in order to get as many views as possible, but that doesn't take the fact away the I enjoy watching Pewdiepie.

SivHD is just awesome, he makes great videos and puts a lot of effort into them. And he's also Dutch :)

I agree that Pewds is a bit two-faced in the whole 'oh I love you guys' thing, but one thing I noticed about Toby is that he doesn't do that. He keeps really seperate from his fans and never mentions them at all.

And really, it is their job. Anything that rakes in money forcing a person to pay taxes is a job. You wouldn't love your co-workers or the payroll department, so they have no real reason to care about us. Like you, I am actually okay with that cos they're not my friend, they're someone I spend my free time watching, y'know? :D
