Do your parents and or intermediate family know about your channel and your plans for it? If so are they supportive or confused much like mine? lol
 
My family knows I stream and do YouTube. My mother wants me to chase it while I work a regular job so I can have income. My dad thinks it's absolutely stupid and you can't make a living off of it. He's more old timey so he doesn't really understand those things.
 
My mom knows about it an she's supportive with what I need, I don't got anyone else so yea. I don't make her watch my vids or really show them cos it wouldn't be something she's into, but just having her not be against it is support enough, she does more still so all in all. I'm good.

Hey Amber Lynx!

As it stands now my mother (I don't have a father) knows I want to pursue my career as a YouTuber and Entrepreneur. But she doesn't know I have started my channel and that it's going really well!

I just know that I'm not meant to have a 9-5 job.

Great question! My mom thinks what I do with YouTube is really dumb. She always says "I don't get it or see the point" or "that seems like a waste of time" my dad watches my videos and helps me come up with ideas. My husband doesn't get why I do it either and isn't the most supportive person with it. The way I've gotten over the critics is to just block it out and remind myself I am doing what makes ME happy and that is what matters most right now! :)

I show everyone my videos. This was the original reason for starting a channel, to have easy access to see what I record.
 
Well i am not vocal about it but im doing some youtube stuff since 3 years, so my mom and dad and sister and friends know it. They don´t watch the videos which i think is good, this way it is "my content" and i don´t get judged or something.
I think my dad thinks that it´s cool, and sometimes i need him to buy/order stuff like mic, fraps, editing software etc.
But i think that i need to do some persuading when i want to monetice (im not 18 so i need my dad to set that up).
But i can´t complain.
 
My wife is VERY supportive of my channel, actively buys things to help my channel run (Obviously being food related this is mainly her shopping for food items). My blood family knows but doesn't watch as their mainly older so they're not too clued up on Youtube.
