Extracting audio tacks separately?

Hi, I am recording with action and I record the game audio and Mic audio into separate tracks in the MP4 and I need to extract the audio tracks separately, Like get a mic MP3 file and a game audio MP3 file. I need to do this so I can edit the volume individually and then put them in movie maker.
Thanks so much!

I would recommend recording them separately from the beginning. Simply put, get a program called: Audacity which will record the audio of your voice, and then you let the video record the game audio respectfully.

From there when putting them into your video editing software (Vegas Pro, IMovie, or Adobe Premiere) You should be able to edit the audio clips just as easily.

Windows Movie Maker would not be a good idea to record and edit from, to say the least.

Ok, But i'm worried that the audio will not sync.

Do a three clap system, simply clap three times while both your game and Audacity is recording. On the third clap you know 100% that both your game and voice is in sync, and then when you put them into the recording, you listen for both the claps to sound at the same time. It's quite simple.

Claps will work for syncing audio from mic with footage from your camera, but to sync game footage I always go to the in game menu and then I say 1 2 3 and on 3 i move selected option on screen using cursor or arrow keys. Be sure to do the same at the end of your video to be sure that it doesn't get slightly out of sync over the time. Hope this helps! :)
