Ever feel like you're wasting your time?

i look things this way,thats not the result,but the person you are becoming,if you put a video each day with 1 view for a year,you maybe didn't get subs but you strenghten your discipline and trust me with no subs and views being consistent is nearly impossible

Hi Kyrie! :)

If you're spending weeks working on a video, spending weeks to create what I know has to be quality content...then you deserve to have more views. I'm sure you will agree. However, unless you're a famous YouTuber...y'know, one of the big names out there, unfortunately, the views won't just come UNLESS you get out there and promote those fantastic videos of yours. Once you're famous, you won't have to do as much promoting (even big names still promote to stay relevant), but now that you're kind of new and unknown, you gotta put in work to get your channel out there. So, if you're open to it (and if you're not, ignore this), here are a few suggestions:

1. Post your videos on all social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.) that you have.
2. Tell your family, friends, acquaintances, etc. about your channel and send them the links to check them out!
3. Post your videos on here! :)
4. Get to know other YouTubers on here, and support them as well. :)

This is just a basic way to start getting yourself out there. I only promoted on Tumblr and yttalk, and my video has 45 views...so I know if you do this, you should definitely get some traffic on your videos.

No, but sometimes I feel when I film for youtube that its a waste of time. But that kind if recently changed about a couple days ago. Someone here (cant remember who) was saying some things about views over subs an how they'd rather have the views. Well I dont ever have problems on getting views, I get a decent amount to where I almost forget about my sub count.

Bein consistent here, get VIP and post a video in your signature. You'd be surprised on how many views you'd get just from here. Good luck, never give up.
 
I think that I could make way better use of my time, whether that be actually putting more effort into my videos and uploading more often or just doing something completely different.
