Ending a video with

Having the option there is like a call to action. I don't say to people to subscribe recently. I having a button in my ending slate though :-) same thing without the face telling you to do so.[DOUBLEPOST=1406495575,1406495489][/DOUBLEPOST]I don't see the harm in it, but I try a more subtle approach by putting a big ol' button in an ending slate at the end of every video :D

To be honest, it gets really annoying if you watch a lot of YouTube videos to hear that at the end of every video. If you use end-card annotations after that, many people might never get to them because they click off as soon as you mention the 'please subscribe' stuff.

I was unsure of doing it at first, and just wrote something in text when editing.

But I thought after seeing so many other people doing it, I thought I would give it a try. I thought it would sound like begging at first. But I try and say it in such a way that makes it the norm.

And it's basically my call to action until I can get better software and an outro where I can do a call to action then.

Hey guys, I just wanted to know your opinion on ending a video telling people to give the video a like and to subscribe?
I do this currently on my videos because it feels natural as many people I watch on YouTube do it & I'd like to know your thoughts...
Do you think its okay, only sometimes or not at all?
It is necessary! People may watch your video for the 1st time and just forget to subscribe or like. That verbal reminder really helps out! Try doing towards the beginning or in the middle every once in a while on really good videos too!

Some people add in pop ins every 3-5 minutes telling them to like or sub if you can add that.

For example, if you're doing a vlog, you can have a teddy bear with glasses in the corner with a caption (Give that like a bear hug)

Unfortunately I cant find the info but there was research that suggested people were 30% more likely to interact i.e like comment subscribe, if it was mentioned in the video.

I am seeing more and more youtubers doing this. I need to do this. Make a interactive "Smack that like button" come up would be awesome to help remind people to hit that like button, without having to physically say it!

I'm jaded by all the end waffle on people's videos and take little to no interest in it; it's predictable, shameless and needy (I used to have some of it myself in all videos from 2013 - over it now).

If I like what I've seen I've probably already stopped the video before the end and clicked the sub button on my own! :p

I've seen a good number of YouTubers (even my own friends) asking for people to "like, subscribe, and favorite" at the end of their videos.

I'm not one to ask for it, I feel like if people like the video, they'll know to like it and maybe even subscribe. My own opinion, I shouldn't have to ask for it.

Yeah I don't like the idea of asking for it. If people want to see more they'll subscribe, asking them to won't help that along.

My outro is just "Cya next time".
