End Screen Watch Time

Dear Gamer

I've Got It
I've noticed that the watch time I get from End Screens are significantly higher than my suggested watch time per video. I normally get 4-5 mins watch time on normal vids, 6-7 on suggested but now with End Screens its around 6-10 mins. I feel the people that click on the End Screens are invested in the channel which gives us better results. I love this new feature, what are your experiences with it?

I've had a similar experience. Since I started doing end screen subscribe button and suggested video to watch next my views have gone up quite a bit. And those are the people that are actually invested in the channel because they stay until the end. :)

That's the best part about it. Question how do you add a video to your signature?

I have so far had great response to the end screen. Ive added the basic end screen linked to my 'latest video' and for those that watch the whole video more times than not will click to view the latest one.
I have had 1'000s of extra clicks so far.

Those are the results I would expect. That is why outros are so important. Not many people watch to the end, but those that do, you definitely want to be feeding them more videos. It's a good way to increase average watch time. You would have seen similar results with outros using annotations too btw. :)

I've thought about choosing this option. So far I use "best for viewer". Do you know what happens if a person continues to see your videos one after the other, but all those videos had "latest video" as the end screen?

Does it all show your last video uploaded or YT brings in intelligence to show the next last video uploaded and so on? I hope I made my point clear.

Any thoughts, any one?

I wouldn't be the same with and outgrowth annotations because I had them on my video before. The best performing end screen is the "best for viewer" it would be difficult for me to know what is best for the viewer which is why I think end screens are more important.

I took a personal break from Youtube for 2 months and just came back a few days ago and now trying to incorporate these new ends cards to my videos. Where in the analytics can I see if people are interacting with them and their watch time? 50% of my audience uses mobile and I'd really like to see how it'll make a difference
