End Screen Watch Time

I haven't used the End screen option yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

My research has shown that the the end screens are highly effective and can really help out with increasing your watch time & session time.

They're really simple to use too which is great.

Hope you have the same success as we have with them!

..We have a channel for kids (animations, nursery rhymes). The kids might click on it and subscribe, but later parents see us in their subscriptions and they might say "I dont remember subscribing to this" and remove it. ...

Spot on! I always give my 2.5year kid my mobile and she uses youtube extensively for kids videos. When I later check YouTube subscriptions, say after 3-4 days, I see min 5 kids channels subscribed. I then unsubscribe them. This has become a cycle for me. My kid has pressed the subscribe button not knowing what it is. All she knows is pressing the screen will bring another video.

I used to wonder how some videos she watches has so many subscribers! I then understood the reason behind it!

I wouldn't be the same with and outgrowth annotations because I had them on my video before. The best performing end screen is the "best for viewer" it would be difficult for me to know what is best for the viewer which is why I think end screens are more important.

Sadly, "best for viewer" is your YouTube videos with the highest views. I don't know if that takes into account what the viewer has already seen, one would think so, can anybody confirm this? I don't use "best for viewer", so I am featuring three different videos each time, related content-wise to the video the viewer just watched. A very high view count is generally NOT an indicator of my best videos. It is rather an indicator of getting "lucky" with the YouTube search engine algorithm.
