Elgato Commentary Off Sync?

Ive had trouble with Elgatos Live Commentary where my voice would just disappear and there would be no reason. I use audacity and Vegas Pro now to sync up the audio as then I know my commentary will be there.

Is Audio Mixer something within Elgato?
I don't believe there is an audio mixer in the Elgato software, i havent seen one. When recording off the PC I use Stereo Mix in the Recording Devices, so my Elgato and I can both hear the sound. Not to sure if that helps.

no, you have to install the software that allows you to do that. I am using some Japanese software, if people need explanation on it, I am sure I can put up an tutorial tonight. Its free program. I use that to capture both my voice and skype voice and record that in Elgato along with game sound and video. All in one!

Windows 7 does not have stereo mix as native app!

Oh I see.

I was quite surprised to be honest, I would've thought the Elgato software would at least have the capabilities of having a separate audio track, but it's alarmingly basic :( shame really because it turns out I can't actually edit in a lossless way on other software. Oh well, the quality I have will do for now :)

Hi all. I recently noticed you can't use two mics with the Elgato Game Capture. What's the best way to get around this? My friend and I were wanting to record commentary with two Turtle Beach XP400s. We'd prefer to somehow combine our Bluetooth signals (using Stereo mix if that's possible) rather than physically wire them into my laptop with a splitter (if THAT'S even possible).

As you can see, I'm lost. Any suggestions?
