If you are worried about the whirring sound in the background than i suggest a better microphone rather than a better camera our ears are offended much quicker than our eyes and your video quality looks okay.. and besides most camera's have a terrible inbuilt mic invest in a new microphone rather than a camera for now Blue Snowball is a decent budget microphone and after a bit of noise removal in Audacity you should be rid of all if not all of that whirring noise
Not sure if this would help, but I used an SJ4000 Action Cam, got on eBay for £40 - I started with my iPhone at first, and then the SJ4000, then GoPro, then Sony and just worked my way up! Anyhow, that was my suggestion
