Do you still subscribe to channels that aren't active?

My second channel was inactive for over 6 months, and it still got over 2200 subscribers over that period. Then I consolidated the videos from other two other smaller channels that I had into that channel and it got alive again. Still getting better and receiving over 4000 hours of watchtime per month, even if it was pretty much abandoned for a long period. I even considered deleting it - yttalk.com/threads/shall-i-delete-a-channel-with-2-86k-subs-and-1-5-million-views.271372/ and now I am happy that I didn't.

Wow
That a good thing to know
I have 2 youtube channel mayself

I do, at least with a few of them.
One of the channels were once my favorite channel, so I am subscribed cause of nostalgia and that I know the creators a bit.

Nope.
I keep track of liked loved videos in my "liked" playlist.
It is kind of frustrating to get irrelevant content in notifications.
It is also kind of trouble to scroll a really big list of inactive channels.
Of course this is (my) subjective opinion...
I have this impression that channels I used to follow prior
two three or more years have been outdated and cashed out
their popularity with e-stores masterclasses etc.
Speaking more about filmmaking and photography channels,
don't know on other genres and subjects.
:)

I respect your input!
Thank you

I do, because I know that sometimes people pop in and out of YouTube and can go long stretches of using it without it necessarily meaning that they're done forever. Plus, being subscribed to them reminds me of their existence, and I don't mind having that reminder to go back and view their old content once in a while - not to mention that the more subs that channel has, the more likely other, newer YouTubers will be to find their old stuff as well.
