I'm not sure I understand...
alright, I'll explain what charge back fees are
if you ever noticed in your bank account that you have a charge that you didn't make. So someone has got access to your card some how. Well you dispute this charge
your bank won't fight against your and they'll fix it. but what happens to the business that the money was charged to, they have to suck it up and lose the money that they
got for the product that was order plus they get a charge back fee for a a small amount is usually $20 but something that's say $10,000 it can be as high as $2,000 in charge
back fees.
With this some trolls figured out years ago that they can donate a sum of money to a youtuber or streamer through those donation sites, then call their bank and claim it's
fraud. When they do that, their bank withdraws the charge from your account back to them and charge your bank, which get's put on your account for the fraudulent charge.
In no way are these your faults as a business owner, but the other banks treat you as your completely at fault for it. The reason I say avoid donation sites is because this will
be a possibility. But with youtube, they have their own system that runs through their bank. They cover all these fees.
It's a pain in the a** to deal with honestly, not everyone will do this to you, but there's always that one person out there that's itching to cause trouble for someone else.
