Easily Distracted
I've seen a lot of channels call their viewers something other than "viewers" or "fans." It's usually a name related to the YouTuber's channel theme or some quirk. They'll call their viewers something like "babies" or "minions." Even smaller YouTubers with little-to-no following often do this.
What are your thoughts on this practice? Do you have a pet name for your viewers? Do you think it adds an extra level of attachment to your channel. As a viewer, do you like being called one of these names? And if so, why?
I'm personally not a fan of the idea. It really just ends up turning me off of that person and their content.
