Do you hate your own voice?

I got used to it ;) Now I dont hate it anymore. But I remember in the first few video's I did, I was constantly asking my GF if I didnt sound weird or was talking to fast or nasal ;)

I have had a few bad comment about my voice. There were a couple of comment saying that I sounded like if I am French. Other were saying racist things.
 
There's a SciShow video on this. I also guess it depends on the recording software and way you carry your voice during recording. Earlier this week I recorded a voice over at college using their equipment and it turned out relatively ok when being played through an iMac.
 
I wouldn't worry about it at all, we are all born differently and cannot change what we were given. Just concentrate on having fun and making good content and it shouldn't matter to your viewers.

I remember not liking my voice when I first heard recordings of it and I did for a long while, though as time went on, as others have stated, I've gotten used to it and now am fairly neutral towards it. It's not a concern for me though, not like I can change it (at least probably not without years of extensive voice training...but...you know, ain't nobody got time for that :P).
 
I do not like it at all. I feel like it is someone else talking. Everyone who knows me and has watched my videos is always shocked when they hear my voice in the video. They say it sounds different.
 
Its a little bit difficult for me to record videos as well since I come from Latvia, where English is barelybarely used so that's on it's on challenge. But it will all come with a little bit of practice.

It is normal, because we do not normally hear our own voice all the time during recording, but after you did more video editing... you will eventually get used to it and you won't hate it anymore. =)
