Do you guys prefer watching long videos or short ones?

Depends on the content. Some videos are better when they are shorter. Some, if really engaging, are perfectly fine being longer. It just depends on how deep you want your content to be.
 
I personally prefer shorter videos, unless I really love the person I'm watching or the gameplay is something I'm genuinely interested in.
 
I've always preferred short videos although depending the talent of the creator I will watch for 30-40min. It's important to give us a reason to watch the whole thing. Make it attractive and exciting.
 
As long as the video is entertaining or has useful information I'll watch it, but I like to watch something under an hour or so. I'm a gaming channel also and my longest video 50 mins or so and my shortest video both have the highest views so who knows lol.
 
I really like super long gameplay videos, less time I have to stop animating and change the video over the better haha. I like to just watch long relaxing content on one half of my screen continually all day.
 
I prefer short video, especially when I don't know the youtuber that well and I think most people prefer short videos, you can achieve a higher viewer engagement with shorter videos :)
 
I can be extremely bored at a 3min video or totally immersed in a 10min video.
I can't watch longer ones, they're too boring usually.

There are a few exceptions though, for example "What the Cut 37" is a french show that is 42min long but entertaining enough so I keep laughing at every single minute of it. But that kind of content takes months to be created?

TL;LR: Keep it under 5 min.
