Do you give yourself a schedule to keep to?

When I tried to make a specific day for the uploads it went bad. Ideas aren't floating around.. I take that back... ideas are floating around but my mind is way too busy in my weekly schedule for work to grab those ideas and work on a video and make sure it should be ready for release. But it also kinda gave me a bit of practice of how to finish my videos with a deadline. Basically I try to keep one day of the week for weekly videos but then I some how don't get time to finish it up.
