Do you give yourself a schedule to keep to?

Before I even made my channel I already had 4 cartoons ready for the go, when I made my channel I then made a Monday and Friday schedule to upload around 3pm GMT. It worked for a good two or more weeks, as the videos where going live I was working on more. It eventually caught up with me though and because I never made it a set schedule it became in flux (Which was partially deliberate as I was still settling into a routine)

I now upload around every other week, so if I was to upload a video on 1 Jan 2050, then my next video would be 16 Jan 2050.

I don't have a schedule really, not a special day when I upload. The reason for that is that I don't always have good ideas to make videos of, so I don't want to pressure myself so much, if I did that, videos would become a "must do" and the enjoyment in making would be gone pretty soon. However, the longest I let myself go without a new video is a week, not one day more than a week, then I shoot again :)

To be honest if its an important film review and i want it to be uploaded just after the film's release then i work to get it uploaded asap. But on most occasions i upload when i want. I find schedules constricting.

I understand what you mean. For me it has a different effect, it gets me moving and gets my brain flowing.

Not really, well i just upload once a week, so every week i upload something, it can be a monday, a tuesday, or wtver else (on my gaming channel "DualCampers")

I try telling myself that I will upload videos at the end of everyweek. So i guess that means i need to make the video on friday and edit it on staurady and sundday. but do picking times to uplod them, say eight o clock, does that really help?
