If I watch a video I always give it a like. Not just so the person gets a like but also so I can tell if I've watched it already if it comes back on some other time, hehe. I watch too many videos

Lol. Good way to keep track of your watched videos if you can't remember them all. Haha. Better than scrolling through history...

I usually leave a like, as I watch tons of videos (for research). Just left a like on yours'
Generally I find the ratios are close, 66% likes to 33% dislikes on high traffic videos and channels (kids channels).
My kids when they watch from their devices don't click or comment, as I have not taught them about that - plus I would not want them to go into the comments on some kids channels and videos, there is so much abuse and swearing on some of them.
Generally when you're small and in the sub4sub loop (or relationship4relationship loop), you'll get like 20-100 comments and 10-30 likes on your video from all the other channels you are subbed to and are subbed to you, and no dislikes. S4S usually don't dislike. The dislikes start once you get viewers out of the sub loops, where those ratios above come from. You'll also get lots of gibberish comments like "DFGDGDF $%%54^%$", that's apparently from little kids mashing the screen on their parents devices.

For me it depends. If i like the video i'll like it... Some times i like a YouTuber so much i'll like the video before it's even started... Most notably to ChrisMD who i believe doesn't post bad videos and always give top content. I think sometimes people just forget

Second, you're amazing! Your comments are always so thorough and rational. Great descriptions with lots of examples (I read one of your other recent post but haven't had a chance to respond yet and that is also through). Really nice.
It's crazy that the ratio is 3-1 likes-dislikes. Do you think it matters though to channels that gets millions of hits on each video? Maybe they just shrug it off as they roll in dough? Lol.[DOUBLEPOST=1474272525,1474272443][/DOUBLEPOST]

I will like any video that I mildly enjoy. I figure it does me no harm to like a video. I didn't think like that before I had a Youtube channel, but I want to be able to easily give some positive feedback to someone 
Although, I do like to save in a different place the videos that I REAAAALLY enjoy, just so I know where to find them, but it's not that big of a problem I figure I'd want to be helpful! I've also started to leave more comments and such, even on famous people's videos, just because I want to be a part of the community, not just a viewer.
