Do you give "LIKES" freely?

I wouldn't worry about getting likes to begin with. As long as you are posting and engaging with people, the likes will soon come. I don't think the amount of likes a video gets is really that important to be honest because as people have said here in the thread some people just dont use the button and others forget. Dont take it as people not liking your videos :) !!
 
I like videos fairly frequently - i don't spam the like button but if i enjoyed any part of the video i will like it. The creator put a lot of effort into the video, and hitting the like button is a very quick and easy way to reward him for those efforts :)
 
I've looked into this for a while, some of the people I've asked have said they use it as a playlist like system, creaters I've asked have said that long videos they make with high likes tend to have bad retention but the highest views so that would back the idea up but other views say its an action of support, some even say they only like small videos out of pitty or surprise
 
I normally like a video, if i lie the persons content within the video, but, if i really don't like it, or i just don't agree, or it grosses me out? i will dislike it. but i like videos that i like, i have been wondering the same thing, my view - like ratio, is like not something to be proud of, haha, like i have a video with over 5K views, and i think 25 likes... it doesn't make much sense, but than i have another video with 1K views, and i think 70 likes... soo i don't know what to make of it
 
I like pretty much every video that I 'like', or content creators that I like. If I REALLY like a video then I'll favourite it.
I do tend to like smaller youtubers videos, if the quality is good and the content is interesting even if it doesn't interest ME in particular..
I don't know, maybe i'm too giving with my likes LOL
