Do you film your videos with other people in the house?

I film in my room so that's not a problem usually especially because each session takes about 15-20 minutes and i'm done. Sometimes I film in the living room though, when no one is around. Just to have a change of environment. I filmed at a friend's house once too! His dog was being really noisy but his grandma was nice and kept the dog out of the way.

I have done a video in the house, or in a yard. I don't really mind other people being around. The big problem is them barging in or saying something out of the blue that would mess up the video. Most of my stuff are vlogs in a car or now more recently a motorcycle. I only have to deal with the other drivers on the road. LOL!

My videos require several takes, and several hours of waiting, so I don't get to chose when to film lol. I just need to plan everything ahead, so when the time is right, I can get one in quickly.

The reason I am asking is because I love doing videos, but I am very self concious doing videos with my family or whatever in the house, so I only tend to do them when home alone, if there are other people in the house, my true personality can't come out, as I worry about people hearing me talking and thinking I am insane! hahahha,
Anyway this means I tend to be a lot quieter, and can't be as funny etc.
Of course now I am in a uni house with 3 other students, I am worried this will cause a decrease in the amount of videos, due to them being around, as well as obviously the amount of work I am going to get which could also cause issues.

So I am wondering what do other people do? Does it bother you and you do them regardless, or do you like me wait unti you're home alone to do them?

PS: I have told my housemates i do youtube videos but I am still self concious anyway about them hearing me
This took over 15 hours to make, so I had to barricade our dining room so my girlfriend couldn't accidentally turn the lights off. Needles to say the setup was very strange, I had a disgusting concoction sitting on the table with a GoPro facing it with an external power pack hooked up. She saw it and gave me a weird look, but I do weird s**t anyways so it's not unusual to get that look

I record whenever I have to/want to record. I ain't got time to worry about whether or not people or home. Worst case scenario if I'm screaming into a mic, and people here it, they instantly know, "Oh, he's recording again."

if there are other people in the house, my true personality can't come out,
I didn't think I did this but a few months ago I compared a couple of gaming videos that I made, one when I was home alone and the other at night when my family was home and I noticed I was definitely quieter when people were home. There isn't much you can do really about it except film in as secluded an area in your house as possible. Waiting for times when people aren't home will make it hard to keep a schedule.

My parents are almost always in the house when I film. It doesn't really bother me since I'm hidden away upstairs so they can't really hear what I'm saying, and they're very good about being quiet while I'm filming. And of course, they're going to be watching the finished video anyway, so it doesn't really matter if they overhear!

I normally always film in my bedroom I would switch it up a bit and use different rooms if home alone sometimes but at uni I stay in my room for now, I have thought about doing vlogs where I am walking out and about outside with members of the public around, but the thought of doing that still terrifys me haha. I could do it if someone was with me so it didn't look so weird but I would struggle doing it while walking around alone.
