Do you film your videos with other people in the house?

At first i was really shy about it...but now sometimes i film with my bf there...i don't really like it because sometimes is distracting but at the end of the day it's fine :) I just film storytime alone, because i need quiet and to be relaxed :)

I mostly film with a few people around just so we can have insight on what it looks like to other people and what their initially thoughts on the videos are :)

I used to make sure no one was home but I grew out of that a long time ago thankfully, it is best not to care what others think, theyre youre family and most of the time families will get over it easily :D

I live alone so when I'm filming at home, no one is around. But, I have done some intro and outro clips outside in my favorite parks with strangers around. I was extremely camera shy before Youtube. My very first video I ever made was partially filmed at the gym with the manager and front desk staff watching me on one side, and my personal trainer standing near me laughing because he thought my intro was funny, which I intended it to be. It was hard for me to do and I had to psych myself up and memorize and practice a script for a week prior. It was my clean eating doughnuts video and I wasn't comfortable filming most of that video.

IMO, the best way to get over camera shyness and inferiority complexes is to film yourself in a public place. You'll notice most people will look, see you talking to a camera, and really won't care or think you're insane. They see you filming and some even think it's cool.

I'm still nervouse about filming with family around. Just because they always make so much noise which I don't want my camera to pick up.

I always have people in my house, I would prefer them not to be.

I just go on anyways and continue yelling. I just don't them to get annoyed haha

I usually film alone or with other people that are either already on my channel or know I'm a Youtuber. I wouldn't randomly film in a room full of random strangers.

I agree with not really wanting to film in the house when people are around. Before I was doing youtube videos and was just in college for film, I found it hard to shoot stuff because my dad is a bit of a jerk. I got 3 hot girls to come over and shoot a video with me for a short film and my dad comes down to get stuff out of the fridge while in his pajamas. It was like wtf are you doing?

Anyways, now that I'm an adult I live with my gf. I do feel weird shooting when she's in the house. We share a one bedroom apartment so not a whole lot of room. I'm an insomniac so I'm up late at night, but feel bad recording stuff because I don't want to wake her up or anything. She has to be up real early for work every day.
