Dislikes are bad

Dislikes are bad. Not only because of their definition, but also for the reason of lack of feedback. I have a score: 103 likes and 50 dislikes. I have many videos that have 0 likes and 1 dislikes - red bars in youtube analytics look terrifying. And it is a bad feeling, because one guy thinks that there is something wrong with my videos and I do not know what this is. He didn't tell me!

Only two of my videos have more that 1 dislike (2 of them) and it looks like one person has made all thumbs down.
How about your likes&dislikes? How do you do when you see many of them?
 
Doesn't look like you have THAT many dislikes. (Took a look at your channel). There is always random reasons people dislike videos. Either way, there is always gonna be that one person that will try and dislike your vids just for disliking your vids. (i.e. no reason at all). I personally don't get it either tbh but hey It comes with the process of growing on the internet. Remember at the end of the day its still a view.
 
I've never had it too bad with dislikes, and I'm never one to get upset about stuff like that. I just find that you'd do better if you just focus on making videos that you think people will like than worry about the one person that doesn't like what you do.
 
yeah my newest one has 7 dislikes and i got really sad because i worked so hard on it, i wish i knew why they'd not only didn't care for my video but put in the EXTRA EFFORT to hit that dislike button!!! :crying::crying::crying:
 
Some people dislike just to p**s people off. Especially the ones that do it right after you upload. As long as your ratio of likes to dislikes is the same or better than your current videos, I wouldn't worry too much about it :)[DOUBLEPOST=1442528945,1442528881][/DOUBLEPOST]Also... I try not to look at them if I can help it. Thankfully with the YouTube creator app and my little Iphone 5 screen.. only the likes can be seen on the video list.. hah! :D
 
That is also what i don't like about disliked. I don't get a lot so i don't mind in general. The biggest amount i have in a video is i think on my white march (poe expansion) first video. it has 9 likes and 5 disliked. I have no problem whatsoever for people disliking my video but at least they could say why.

You ll get troll disliking your videos (like one in each video for a series or something like that) but when multiple people feel there is something wrong i wonder why exactly? what is it that makes that specific video different from the others?

Would be nice if youtube made you give a reason for disliking but i am guessing the bigger channels would get flooded (since they get thousands of likes and dislikes).
 
Man dislikes are good for your videos! There are a form of interaction and having a bunch of them is far better than having none at all! There are thousands of videos out there with tons of dislikes and they have performed very well! I made a video about dislikes a while back which explains alot. Don't waste your time worrying about them and get back to making awesome content!
