Is there no other way to deal with it other than disabling them being visible.

I have no idea what to do and it really annoys me knowing that this could even be possibly my so called friends doing this for their own fun or just because they don't want me to be successful.

I also got dislikebotted on a previous channel just because they want to demotivate me, I just disabled the "likes / dislikes" and after 2 days the dislikebotter stopped and I just could enable it again and everything was normal again. Maybe you can try that too ?
 
Well it's happening again and I think I know who's doing it. I collaborated with someone I met online but I think he has turned on me.
 
I have been affected by botting on YouTube, happened a few years ago. There is not much you can actually do to stop it as there is no way YouTube/the Admins can actually tell if the dislike is legit or not (as most bots will use proxies, to make it seem as if the dislikes are coming from different locations).
I handled it by disabling the like/dislike ratio from view and putting in a short 10 second message at the start of my videos until the botter stopped.
