Custom URL ever again?

Do you guys think Youtube will allow people to make a custom URL ever again without having any milestones (number of subs or years active)? Just curious.

I don't think so, but who knows? Maybe if a lot of people ask for it and a lot of times passes, then maybe!

Why would they?
It's not like it's super difficult to get 100 subscribers.

I don't think they should. It provides extra incentive to reach that 100 sub mark. A custom URL shows that someone has put at least some effort into their channel.

Custom URLs are something that should be at least a little bit earned, or else channels can gobble up a ton of URLs with no effort at all, and that makes it harder for the rest of us to get them.

You only need to associate your channel with a website. A free Weebly pages does that, so you can have your "custom" URL in about 20 minutes.
