Current VS New Youtube layout

It seems im the millionth person to ask this haha! Sorry, didn't see the other threads. :eek:
Anyway, most of you seem to have a positive impression of the new layout. This pretty much settles it for me, i'll covert to the new layout tomorrow and see for myself.

Make sure to make a channel art banner and a trailer vid for the channel as well
 
i would have to say i am getting more comfortable with the new layout who knows the exact date when they are going to roll it out to everyone when it is forced and not optional anymore and with the old layout i made a few mistakes and had to start using that image map tool to make the social media links clickable. I think the new layout makes things a bit easier for people and i just need to start practicing in adobe photoshop so i can get better and better at designing banners. Practice makes perfect:)

You can also request one in a different section of the threads you might someone who can do it for free i'm a GFX artist in my spare time myself

I used to agree with you, But it has a lot more customization then you think. I think it has room to improve of course. But now you have the option of adding a trailer video. and if you have subscribers, the main page is set up in a way that now your older videos will get a lot more views then the used to on the old layout. I do miss the fact that it felt like it was your own page and not still on the youtube page. But other than that, It is waaaaay better then the old layout.

Im getting excited to try the new layout now. It will have to wait until tomorrow though, or else I won't get any work done, haha. Thanks for the input, I had no idea about some of the features available to youtubers using the new channel layout.
