Copyright Strike from EA!

Hello everyone

Yesterday I had uploaded a short camera footage of FIFA 17 gameplay and today EA manually detected it. As a result it was removed from YouTube and I recieved copyright strike! I know people are not allowed to upload any FIFA 17 footage before the game comes out but then it is impossible to compete with others but that is not a point of my thread...Who should I contact? And what should I write to EA? Also when I open my video, I see following options: 1)Request retraction 2)Submit counter notification

Is there anything I can do? Or should I just wait 6 months untill it expires?

Thank you

The only way you can get away with uploading content like that is if you are reviewing the content. You can use that to dispute any claim. However, is this strike really impacting your channel? Is the loss of the video damaging you? If the answer is no I would suggest just leaving it be and avoiding two further strikes. Trying to dispute it may cause more damage to your channel if not.

If you add something to the content, are you talking over it? If so then you can probably contest it and likely win out.
Although if you just uploaded the video, then you breached copyright and I guess you'll have to wait out the strike.

Thank you for your answer! The problem is that I am partnered with Creative Nation and if I don't get rid of that strike, I will only get 50% instead of 90% of my earnings :/ I really like Creative Nations and I want to keep my 90% revenue share. Also it will take at least 30 days to unpartner my channel and then I will need to find new network

I don't think writing EA is going to do anything. You can give it a shot, but I'd expect little more than a canned reply by a bot.
Thank you for your answer! I think I can still try to contact them. But who should I contact exactly? And have you got an idea what I should write?

Check the copyright strike on your YouTube, it should give you some contact information.
I tried to request retraction and this is what I get :/[DOUBLEPOST=1465944387,1465939848][/DOUBLEPOST]I emailed EA and asked them to remove copyright strike. I know the chance is really low but let's see how it goes
