So a story has popped up in the world over the last few days about a 19 year old female Hunter named Kendall Jones. I came across the story late yesterday evening and didn't give much thought to the story after I read it until I saw the comments today (because the story keeps popping up everywhere I look) and I wasn't expecting to see the "firestorm" that has been taking place. I've been using the Internet for almost half my life now and what shocked me about this story wasn't the lack of humanity and rationality in peoples comments nor the ignorance or the hate but the fact that....I didn't know this was something people felt so strongly about.

I used to think I had seen it all on the Internet and nothing could surprise me anymore but I didn't know people cared that much about something despite their lack of action to help that something through effort, time and donations. It baffled me. Now I don't want to turn this into a Hunting/Conservation thread. [TL;DR] I want to know If there has ever been a time where you were surprised by something on YouTube (could be a channel you operate or not) whether it be hate, shocking revelations, pure madness or something that made you fall to the ground laughing.

Oh Goodness :eek: Okay. I got another one. I won't link the video or channel but I was kind of embarrassed (I guess, I still don't know how I felt) when I found out that the vlogger I was watching was actually transgender and not a woman as I thought him to be. I found He-She so incredibly attractive and I was trapped D:

The subject matter of the first video was kind of weird and the transgender was a total trap (<-- And no that is not derogatory, more of a compliment in fact) but the video topic, personality and perspective was still interesting. After the first video I went to their video list to find what else I should watch and there was only like 8 or 9 videos at the time so I could see their entire video catalog and the first 3 videos were all titled in a way that indicated that persons journey to becoming a female. I was shocked but I ain't Intolerant nor did I make a weird thing about it so I still watched more videos from that person. He-She hasn't uploaded any content since 2011 though :\

People can be terribly cruel. It's sometimes too awful to think about. There was a beautiful little girl who had a Youtube channel, and had cancer. Her name was Talia Castellano. She passed away, and I saw awful comments left on her videos. I do not know if they were trolls, or a combination of trolls and just horrible people. People saying she was ugly because she was bald...people saying they were glad she was dead. People calling her a b***h. Some truly sick people int he world. She was 13 years old. So I just went randomly to one of her videos...here are some actual comments:

Talia's vlogs were so boring. The remarkable part is when she died.

Four weeks in the hospital. You really were a diseased cretin. Hahaha.

stupid bald b***h, she only shaved her head for attention
stupid c**t, but good now she's burning in hell

I remember reading an article about that. I hate thinking back to those comments. They were the worst display of human behavior to another human being I've ever seen on the Internet. I'll have a hard time forgetting about those evil people again.

Truly awful. Even if they are just trolls looking for attention....there has to be some...some real hatred inside yourself. I cannot imagine ever saying, even thinking anything so terrible.
