Canon Rebel t4i

Loving YTtalk
Hey guys, I make videos on YouTube but my videos quality isn't great. So was researching good video cameras and apparently the canon rebel t4i is a good choice. I was just wondering what's a good price for the camera? I was going to look for one at Harvey Norman tomorrow but before I go, I was just wondering how much it's worth so I don't get ripped off. Thanks guys, also if anyone has experience with this camera, is it really as good as it is talked up to be? Thanks :D

I just checked out your channel, I'm also an Aussie Entertainer :D

I also have meh video quality (iPhone 720p). :D

You only get the body of the camera, no lenses. You would have to purchase a lens separately if you went with the body only but it can work out a lot cheaper and it makes sense for people who have lenses already.

I take it lenses are required for better footage? (Complete Camera Noob)

Join in the thread half way in, i use this camera and the standard lens is very noisy if you intent to use the internal mic.

I'd recommend an STM unless you use a external mic?

Lenses are required to be able to use the camera at all, if you havent got one you wont get far at all :D Say you went with the body you could go for this lens here:

http://www.procamerashop.co.uk/canon-ef-40mm-f-2-8-stm.html?gclid=CMOhptbZ27YCFQbHtAodX3oAyA

and that could work out cheaper than going for the camera kit which would include a lens. It all depends on what lens you want really. That is my favourite lens, its a good all rounder for pictures and video in my opinion.

Ah alright, thanks Michael :D I'm actually purchasing this camera later in the year, so I'm doing as much research I can before hand. :)
