Can i use footage from other's youtube videos to make my educational video?

If you are using someone elses video and they don't like you using it then you have to take it down. You don't OWN it they do.

But you are adding something significant to it. Most nonfiction books on the market I've read recently are just this, taking other people's studies and experiments and adding on to them. It's a good way for our society to further develop.

If the owners of the video/clip don't like it then take it down or edit it to remove the clip. They are the owners of it and if they don't like it they have perfect right to take it down.
It's terrible if the owners DO NOT send you a message to take it down.
I think they will angry with me. They just flag video and do nothing :(

It doesnt matter. A youtube video isnt public domain.

If the original creator doesnt like it it will be taken down. I wouldnt like my videos to be used for something I don't stand for.

Not really. They still own the clip. If they don't want or like you using it then it's their choice.

Put a disclaimer at the start of the video saying "if you own any of these clips and don't want me using them then send me a message"

What kind of videos would you use as example footage?
I just saw a Dreamstime advertisement under your post because I've been looking at stock videos for the last few days and I realized that you might find example stuff on that site.
But it costs money. And it most likely might not have the video if you actually need footage from special events that happened in the world.

Fair use is a mine field. If the copyright holder does not agree you can only fight it at court. You are only safe if you have a written and signed broadcast permission. It's good practice to ask anyway.

For example, I will make a video called "How many insects live in your house?". I need use insects videos as example footages for my video.
It's boring if you can only use images to make video.

Alltime10s and Alltime Conspiracies make 2 video/ 2 days. Two channels are managed by a person. He/she will need 20 footage videos for two channels.
I don't think he/she has a written permission for all videos. Some video footages are really old. And the owners's channels are not used in a few years.

I am not saying that others don't get away with it. Their videos are definitely not safe when they don't have permission. It's your choice if you want to take the risk of getting your channel terminated and thus being banned from YouTube for life.

Ok, I will not use other's videos. I'm tired of this.
I'm going to purchase some cheap royalty free stock footage videos if I can.

Ah, okay.
There are plenty of stock videos of insects on the internet, some are free, some are expensive.
Also, what I just thought of: Since you would use footage for fair use, you can contact the channel to ask their permission to use the video.
