what would be the point? no one would be able to see them lol but you can do it. by the way i found the answer through google so its always worth checking there first.

I offer free music for anyone to use.
I am thinking of releasing some special releases that only paid subscribers can access.
So Those videos would be unlisted and only available via special link provided.
Get what I mean?

I would think unlisted videos MAYBE
since they are still viewable to the public.
but Private i'm almost certain cannot be monetized

Youtube has a function for paid content - why not use that because I am sure it will be far more secure - like it'll only take one person to leek the unlisted link and it'll be avaliable to all.
Not sure if you can monetize the paid content ad wise as well but people will be paying for it so you are still making money - plus I'd be pretty miffed if i paid for stuff and still had to go through ads. but thats just me

Yes you can monetize the paid content. I know because I have a Paid Subscription channel and I had to fight with my network to get them to turn off the bot that went through each member channel making sure every video was showing ads.
