Can I get in trouble for make a video trashing another Youtuber?

True True, well I think the important thing to avoid a lawsuit is to not say anything that is not true. For example, If I want to talk about someone, I can't say "they are a money launderer" if I have no proof, and am just totally making it up at random. Then they could have a viable lawsuit against me. If everything I say is true though, and it doesn't expose their personal info like address, phone number, whatever... then what can she really do?

They don't need a lawsuit. They simply need to report you.

What you want to do, no matter how you word it or try to justify it, is against the YouTube guidelines...but, again, this only continues to prove that you don't want to listen and aren't worth the time any further.

Hey so I just wanted to update you and everyone else. I MADE THE VIDEO! lol. I just had so much to say that in my heart of hearts, I could not let it go, and decided to take a gamble. Believe it or not, the person I made the video about DELETED their channel around the time I uploaded the video about them. OMG!! I had no idea, someone who watched my video private messaged me and told me. Anyway, my video is getting great feedback, I haven't had ONE bad comment. People are loving it, and that I had the courage to call her sorry a** out. Apparently there are hundreds of people she was harassing, so my video seems like it speaks on behalf of all of us who were victims of hers. I am glad I followed my own instincts and uploaded it. If any of you are curious, you can check out my video, it is called "exposing my cyberbully"

In your case I would focus on your own feelings. That makes the video more about you and since you are reporting on your feeling it's very difficult to get in trouble over that. Also facts can give the video some structure.

Ah I see I am a bit late to the party... ^^

A little bit. It is okay though haha. You all can check out my video if you want. I didn't really hold back except for not saying the person's name in the video.

The thing is, a lot of youtubers make videos about other youtubers that does not necessarily show them in a positive light, and their videos are fine as in they do not get taken down. Maybe I can just tone it down and not name call, or say what their name is, or not show the screen grabs? Maybe just talk in general like "a person was bullying me about my subscriber count and view count, and this is how it makes me feel"... like something like that?

I know ou made the video already but I wanted to touch on this. This is the basis of YouTube channels like Freelee the Banana Girl and Vegan Gains. Basically they get around the cyber bullying restrictions by throwing the Fair Use Disclaimer up at the beginning of the video and veil their criticisms as content criticism. They will show clips of the other youtuber's video while interjecting their opinions about that youtuber. Since the content youtubers, especially vloggers, post can be really personal, the lines are blurred a bit.

And then there are people like Joe Best who make hour long videos exposing specific youtubers - with Facebook messages, emails, texts, graphs and whatever else... with a sloppy attempt to cover up last names though the youtubers in question are easily identified.

And the last person you mentioned, Joe Best (never heard of him before) has his channel gotten taken down? I am considering making a follow up video about the person who was bullying me because they have continued to harass me and name call me. I am no angel, I don't start anything, but I will finish it lol. I really want to just expose everything they say so people know exactly who they are. And on the upside, it could be a little distasteful, but that video has 2k views, and rave reviews. I had an influx of subscribers when that video came out. Sooo.... I think I am onto something. As long as they keep acting like a dipshi z... I will keep exposing them.

God no, unless it is blatantly just rude.

Good examples are when people would put up Xx_eric_xX roasts onto youtube.
A lot of them were taken down for how rude they were (even though they are hilarious)

There's a fine line between roasting someone and just being rude to them but as long as you are not saying racial slurs then I would think you would be fine.

Idk

Those types of videos are definitely popular because people love to follow drama, and they also like youtubers like you who expose seemingly nice youtubers who are actually bullies. Joe DID have his channel taken down at one point but it was reinstated after a time and all those videos are still up. I don't remember all the details surrounding this though.
