Bye YouTube, Hello Google...

Google+ is slowly eating and ******** out YouTube.

I've recently noticed when you click on somebodies channel, you are redirected to the user's Google+ Page quickly, before you are redirected to their channel. How much longer do we have until the second transfer doesn't take place, and a Google+ Page becomes the user's channel page?

With a company as big as Google, there is no way to stop them. All they want is money. We've tried gathering as a community and stopping them, but that didn't work. Google used to be loved for being simple and helpful, and now they are hated for becoming the social media. Everybody who is new to YouTube will be used to it, and all of us will be stuck in a dungeon of video sharing. Say goodbye to YouTube and the entertaining content creators, most content creators are paid much more than they need, that isn't a problem to us, but it is to Google. When these big entertainers don't make an advantageous living off of YouTube, why would they work hard on it anymore? Then what happens? From what I can see, YouTube is slowly evolving into Google+, and why would Google stop? What reason do they have to stop themselves from changing the world's biggest video sharing website to one under their name, and their style?

What are your thoughts?

I don't know what you're on about, I just tried with like 5 different people and I always get redirected to their Youtube channels.
Try it on a comment, and look at the URL bar as you are redirected, you pass their Google+ Page so that it counts as a 'veiw', and then you are redirected to their YouTube channel page.

Basically, the user doesn't have a YouTube channel. You know that when you create a gmail, you automatically have a YouTube account even though you did not create one right?

If you click on the name, it goes to their Youtube channel. Even in comments.

I think he's talking about how when you click on a person's username, you go to their G+ page first which automatically redirects you to their channel. It really only takes 2 seconds so I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Oh, haven't noticed that though.o.O

If Google forces you to add a 'view' to their Google+ page when you go to their channel, and they force you to add a '+1' when you like somebody's comment, what do you think is going to happen in the future, when you subscribe? Google and YouTube are merged, and there is no need for YouTube if everything is mirrored onto Google, which is the actual name of the company that owns YouTube, why would they demote themselves by using another name? I'm trying to explain that there is no need for YouTube in Google's eyes, and that is why they mirror everything from YouTube onto Google+.

Youtube is still run as a subsidiary. That's why when the rumors of Youtube buying Twitch came about, it said Youtube was buying it and not Google themselves.
