Bye YouTube, Hello Google...

Youtube is still run as a subsidiary. That's why when the rumors of Youtube buying Twitch came about, it said Youtube was buying it and not Google themselves.
Google owns rights to YouTube, the only reason it is named YouTube is because it is a well-known name, like a landmark, it is what people search when they want to find it. Google is creating more and more updates that implement Google+ slowly, so that it won't be such an immediate change, and people won't be as upset or surprised when it happens, i'm not saying that Google is renaming YouTube, i'm saying that they are making Google+ too connected to YouTube, when YouTube should be an independent video sharing site, and we shouldn't be forced to share everything we do with Google+.

I don't get what's your problem with it. Yeah, f**k Google for putting money into something that didn't do as well so they were forced to do something else to get some revenue out of it. Can you still watch videos on Youtube? Yes. Google has owned Youtube since 2006 so I don't get why people are now bashing them for wanting to destroy Youtube.

Ever since G+ Was created they've tried their best to incorporate it and make it as beneficial to us as possible. So what if it auto redirects to the channel. An extra view for my G+ page isn't going to hurt anyone.

What i'm trying to say, is that I don't want everything I do on YouTube to be mirrored on to Google+, I want YouTube to be an independent site like it used to be, and everything I do on YouTube stays on YouTube, not Google+. It doesn't effect me, I know, but Google knows that too, so there has to be reasoning to them doing it.

Just set everything to private and go on with your life.

To be honest the whole YouTube and Google+ thing hasn't bothered me that much. If you don't want to mirror your YouTube activities to google+ I think there are settings for that. But I guess it's good that people highlight the fact that Google could potentially abuse the Google+ integration into YouTube.

Lay off on the sarcasm, you created a thread on a public forum so as a member of said forum, I replied and gave my thoughts on the topic. What exactly were you hoping for? For everyone to agree with you?
I don't see what the problem is, I said thank you for your thoughts on the situation.
