BroadbandTV: really, really, really lame CPMs? [BBTV and subsidiaries]

That's hardly been proven by those claiming to be former employees. Everyone can make claims of all sorts. That doesn't make them true. I would like to see some hard evidence to this before I believe it.

In any case, I think it's only fair to tell you all that I just received my first revenue report from TGN and the RPM I got is far from the low levels everyone keeps claiming. Almost $5,- RPM (so CPM is even higher). In my book that's pretty good, especially for a channel as small as mine.

What I see, Small channels always get high RPM.....

I think content and audience demographics are the biggest factor.

Mobile views % can also be important, as even monetized mobile views are often worth significantly (5-10x) less on a CPM vs CPM basis.

I really haven't seen anything close to a correlation between channel size and CPM/RPM.

Anyone here has any experience with VISO? I know they are a subsidary of BBTV, but I'd still like to hear someones input about them.

You'd rather look elsewhere from BBTV maybe look at Maker/Fullscreen's subnetworks

The problem is, I already partnered with them about a month ago after I had been contacted by one of their recruiters.

The recruiter promised me high CPMs. He told me the average is more than $2.00, which was nearly double that of on my AdSense ($1.33). He also promised many tools and blah blah...
I did some quick (apprarently, too quick) research, and I found that people seemed happy about VISO.

After I got partnered, things didn't turn out to be as expected. I never got any "Welcome Email" as to explain what happens now or what I should do. I was also not told that there was no dashboard available.
When I contacted them about how to see my estimated earnings, they said they only way to do so is in "VISO Catalyst" which was at the time under development.

After almost threatening them, I finally got access to this Catalyst dashboard after a few days, but only to realize that the "Estimated Earnings" window is bugged and does not work. It is one month now since I have access to the dashboard, but this feature is still bugged.... WTF?

This is why I looked up some feedback on YTtalk ... I see many negative comments about a low CPM with all BBTV subsidaries, and because I cannot see my CPM nor total earnings so far, I'd like to hear some input specifically about VISO.

BBTV and all of its sub-networks are a disgrace to the YouTube Partnership world. I hear nothing but bad stories. Disgrace. This thread should be enough for people to stay away from them and if your in their control try and get out asap!

That's one of my conspiracy theories of why TGN is the only network (i'm not sure) who didn't have an "earnings analytics"....... why they disable that option? what are they hiding?... I didn't know until I came here some weeks ago that almost all networks, you can track your earnings, or have their own dashboard..... they sent us a message like a month ago to all TGN partners only... that the dashboard is "almost" ready... and eventually they will send us the invitations to join it.....

Like I said before... The problem with TGN is that they have a terrible business ethics.... in October 2012, George told us that there's a 100% payout, and then in December 2012, after we signed all the new contracts.... Awall is saying that we actually share a 60/40 split between BroadBandTV and their partners..... I mean... WTF????

But, I still think Machinima and Social Blade are even more terrible than TGN (low CPM and long term contracts).....

They keep saying that b***h-a** excuse? it's been a year since they started saying that the DASHBOARD is almost ready. Wow.-.-
