Some of their subsidiaries have dashboards, others don't and literally have *no* idea what they are getting until the report/check arrives and have no way to validate.

BBTV is one of the networks that contacted me through youtube. After a couple of emails, I was not interested in their offers. I guess I dodged a bullet but i kind of seen it coming..

There was more but now it's standard practice for networks to allow revenue visibility enabled. I'm only aware of BBTV.

I'm not aware of any BBTV related groups that have a dashboard. Both TGN and NG have been claiming it's "coming soon" for well over a year now.

I am currently a partner with TGN/BBTV and i must say i am very disappointed in how they run things. Especially since this is the first network i have partnered with. There's was no one to contact to help get me started with them besides there support email that doesn't always reply to you and how low there RPM is. I understand... yea i am new and all but still... almost 50% less then $1 is just way to low for me...
I rather be getting paid nothing, then representing a company I dont fully support and appreciate. Leaving them ASAP!

I must post here after another ex-coworker lead me to this forum. I am an ex employee of BBTV and I would like to take the opportunity to #1) say sorry to anyone who has been affected by BBTVs/TGNs business practices and please forgive me for my evil doings by working for this heartless company. #2) Shed some light and answer some questions for everyone.
Background on me - I was let go because I totally burned out after selling my soul on a daily basis lieing to people, promising the world and delivering nothing in terms of value and then the phony BBTV CEO had to cut me loose
First off the head of TGN was actually a good guy I worked in the same office as him and he was the only truly passionate person that worked for that entire company. He had lots of great ideas and really tried to do things even though most things would get Kiboshed by BBTVs CEO. However at the end of the day he was still powerless to do anything because the business model to begin with is totally flawed at the expense of content creators. It is in a sense a massive SCAM.
Now I do tip my hat to the two at the top of BBTV who came up with this massive money making scam, in the same way that I tip my hat to Bernie Madeoff for his ponzie scheme scam. I mean its the way of the future to make huge money, figure out a scam that falls in the grey area and you make tons of money. I am actually jealous in a way.
Here is the scam explained;
Content farm as many partners as possible, offer value through buzz words saying you will increase CPMS you have the power of a huge network (you don't have to do what you say since lying is not illegal) promise the world to ppl who make these stupid minecraft videos etc.. then sign them up attach ourselves to them and we take half of their CPMS YAY money! and we sit back laugh at everyone who signed up and let the cash roll in amazing!

BBTVs CEO loves to rhyme off all the Buzz words about empowering people and creating passion in what you do. However I have never seen or interacted with a less professional, out of touch with the functions of the business, egotistical to the point of making Donald Trump look modest, individual in my life.
BBTV is just a giant toy box to fullfill the CEOs love and desire to have power over people and you folks are unfortunately the Toys.
*Long Story short you will never see good CPMs again so essentially your better of starting fresh and doing things right the first time.. stay alone*

Damn, the timing of this makes me feel really s****y. I thought I had done my research on these guys pretty well, up to a point where I had made it my goal to join TGN because I thought it was a sound and robust network. Now I'm partnered with them and I read about all these scams and horrible stuff. Gone is the feeling of accomplishment I had when they invited me.
I haven't even been with them for a month, so I have yet to see any true results (which I am not expecting to be much to begin with, even before the cut). But I might just bail as fast as I joined them. Maybe just monetize my videos the old fashioned way without being a partner, who knows.
Oh well.

Thanks for sharing. Do you have any proof of your employment you can share? Paystubs, employee ID, etc? Feel free to block out any private info.
I gather you worked in recruitment at least, did you do any 'channel management' or 'partner support' while you were there? Do you know how they operated?

Yes I did channel management and also recruitment aka spam mailing Youtubers generic form mails hoping they bite than if they did, feeding them BS to get them into rock solid legal contracts. Evil right? I worked in their head office. Which is about 20 people total the entire company.
I kind of want to remain somewhat annon on this. If a mod wants me to send them a stub or whatever I gladly will, however I won't post it here. I just created this account to post in this thread and clear up any questions about the operations of BBTV or TGN from the inside, I don't think it is right that they are able to get away with lieing and scamming people without any recourse. I also hope people potentially considering working there may stumble across this first so they don't waste their time taking a detour in their lives working here as it will end the way countless others jobs at BBTV ended. Sad, deflated, lost and blown away by the delusional CEO.
When I first started here I thought it was possibly great, like who doesn't want to help youtubers make money off their content and help them grow their channels sounds like a real "win win".. good ol buzz words
However within like literally 48hours of working there after the scam was reviled to me by another disgruntled employee my bubble quickly burst. I did sell the lie to Youtubers cause I had to to pay my rent, but it was the most awful soul sucking job I have ever had, I would literally go home every night depressed and upset along with a flock of others who all felt the same way.
The most frusterating part of it all was it did not have to be that way. There were so many actually talented people that worked there with good ideas of how to actually add value and do things to actually help the Youtubers grow their channels, however every single decent idea was shut down by the CEO and VP....... The focus was just on "more partners.. more partners"
The head of TGN would often come by desk in the morning and tell me about this new idea he had thought up to add value to his audience, he would be really excited... I would then remind him that to get anything done he has to go through the CEO of BBTV first.. the smile would instantly leave his face and a lot of stuff just wouldn't get done, sad really. 99% of the ideas were shut down just because the CEO liked to do that to people, it was a weird almost misogynistic obsession the BBTV CEO had doing to people, very very very odd to say the least. I do actually feel really bad for the head of TGN cause he was the only one who actually cared.. he got so frustrated and eventually left BBTV, rightfully so though... I do sincerely feel badly for him cause he is truly a good person.
Oh another inside tip - Ya they def are skimming money off the top. The only person with access to the actual CPMs was the VP and that was the most closely guarded secret in the company. They often paid late, or didn't even pay at all. Its all about damage control and then they hope you just disappear. Even the front line staff's pay checks were missed sometimes LOL what a joke.
The turn over here is massive and the CEO is so out to lunch that they just call it corporate restructuring lol yah right.
My goal is to see BBTV exposed for what it really is, I hate seeing someone successful at scamming others and getting away with it.
So what can you guys do about it?
-Seriously it would be amazing if you TGN folk and anyone involved just made 1 video each about how BBTV was screwing you over. In the description make sure the words BBTV,VISO,TGN, and BroadbandTV are all listed.. then vlog candidly and honestly about your experiences with the company. It is the only way this company will ever be held to account. Trust me it will work! ARAB SPRING MOFO's!
