BroadbandTV: really, really, really lame CPMs? [BBTV and subsidiaries]

Like a TGN Partner (Soon to be Unpartenered).... I don't think they are the worst network... but not a good network...... I think Machinima and SocialBlade are between the worst of the worst.... they don't reply your messages, long-term contracts and low CPM.... TGN has one of the lowest CPM, but at least there's no contract, so you can leave when you want (that's why I went with them). GOOD is that they always reply my messages 24-48 hours, I never had any problems with hold-payments, because I always follow their steps... I'm surprise when I hear that some people just get a partnership and doesn't even remember their TGN ID, their e-mail or paypal account (3 very important things) when register..... and complain about no payments....

Another problem with TGN is their business ethics... they never said there's a 40% split with BROADBANDTV..... and unfortunately when I saw that my monetized views when up and my CPM went down (even when my analytics show that my views from US went up)... I think it was time to move on.....

Which network is good according to you? Like you say TGN, Social blade and Machinima are bad but what do you think is a good network with a normal CPM? I am with Machinima at the moment and my CPM is really low I really don’t know what to do and like you said when you massage them they never replay.

My Earnings Report for April, it says everything.
I already left my 2 Channels with BBTV because i dont will do much Work for such Low Cpms.

The point is, you dont have Access to Analytics, so you cant See how much you really make.
I just think its a Lie with such low CPMs/RPMs.

Personally (as a channel just getting my a** out of a BBTV contract), I think this is why the dashboard isn't finished yet. They disabled YouTube earnings analytics so nobody can actually see the YouTube data. I think that BBTV is simply taking a large cut. Since there's no transparency, we have no way to know but the fact is that there's no way that legit CPM is lower than just Adsense. It won't be fraud or any such nonsense, but make no mistake, BBTV is taking their significant cut before the network gives you your "contracted" percentage.

Tarmack
Exactly! :)

Its inpossible to have such low-a** CPMs, i think Iricom has an much Higher CPM :shifty2:
Everytime such Emails from VISO saying about that Low-Cpms, they just take always there Big Cuts and no one knows it.

My CPM was there under $0.40, and now in April its $0.42....
With another Channel (Is with MAKER) i have an Steady +$4.00 CPM no matter what Month it is, SO WTF?!

Badly i am in an 5 Year Contract with Acifin, but i already left my Channel, lol.

HOLY CRAP those numbers are bad. Bad network! No cookie!

Exactly what I've been talking about :/

My problem with BBTV and their sub networks is the amount of utterly terrible ads that appear on their content - it's quite common to be offered a chance to watch a 13 minute promotional film for industrial parts washers made in the '90s.
Nope.

That's one of my conspiracy theories of why TGN is the only network (i'm not sure) who didn't have an "earnings analytics"....... why they disable that option? what are they hiding?... I didn't know until I came here some weeks ago that almost all networks, you can track your earnings, or have their own dashboard..... they sent us a message like a month ago to all TGN partners only... that the dashboard is "almost" ready... and eventually they will send us the invitations to join it.....

Like I said before... The problem with TGN is that they have a terrible business ethics.... in October 2012, George told us that there's a 100% payout, and then in December 2012, after we signed all the new contracts.... Awall is saying that we actually share a 60/40 split between BroadBandTV and their partners..... I mean... WTF????

But, I still think Machinima and Social Blade are even more terrible than TGN (low CPM and long term contracts).....

They must be taking a hidden fee or percentage of the revenue, they must be! There is no other explanation as to why even 100% AFV ads would earn you less than if you were with YT directly It just doesn't add up at all.

Are there any networks that don't allow their partners to see their estimated earnings on YouTube? Because if that is the case, it would be very easy to rob creators blind.

I know they do have really bad business ethics. Luckily I got out of my contract in the very beginning of April.TGN.JPG
