Just keep going!!! And don't compare yourself to the big dogs.. Every dog has it's day and one day you will get thrown a bone.. Ok enough Canine references.
Basically this, if you keep comparing, it just demotivates you. Keep darn motivated.Just keep going!!! And don't compare yourself to the big dogs.. Every dog has it's day and one day you will get thrown a bone.. Ok enough Canine references.

I sware i'll get a video game the night it releases (midnight) and make a video on it
If by higher quality you mean a better thumbnail then yeah maybe. But besides that my videos come close enough to the ball park with many of those higher ranking dudes that i should atleast get more views then i do now. Just doesn't seem fair sometimes.[DOUBLEPOST=1380765810,1380765692][/DOUBLEPOST]Everyone was in that position before getting big, and if you're talking about your gta 5 videos the same stuff was made in higher quality by other people before you made it, just saying.
I completely understand that, and i do realize that everyone starts somewhere. I also em not trying to get my channel millions of views from my gta 5 videos nor is this thread referencing those videos. I just mean in general.[DOUBLEPOST=1380765901][/DOUBLEPOST]Everyone starts at 0 subscribers. I think many smaller channels forget that.
Also remember, many of these big channels (I'm talking the 'million plus club') have been around several years, when they were more unique and it was easier to amass subscribers. Nowadays? You gotta do something different. Throwing GTA V out there will get your video lost under the swamp of other GTA V videos.
Awe man that sucks! I'd be p****d![DOUBLEPOST=1380765997][/DOUBLEPOST]I will say that I can some what relate to this, I don't really care for it. Mostly 'cause I make videos to entertain myself. What sucks is when this happened to me, it did AWESOME. It was for Dead Rising 2: Case Zero. I was the first person to upload and finish it, got a ton of views and everything. Buuuuuut I had to take it down due to copyright 'cause of the end song in the credits. DAMN YOU CELLDWELLER!!!
I agree, life will go on and i'll keep doing my thing.[DOUBLEPOST=1380766072][/DOUBLEPOST]I can relate, cause look at Epic Meal Time, they made a gaming channel and have a lot of subscribers already! But oh well what can we do? Keep working hard and even if you have like 1 person in the world who watches your video and it's all excited to know a new video is coming or there's a new video uploaded you should be grateful! If you didn't know CTFxC have been around for 5 years and they just reach 1m subs and if you look at Shaytards that been less time they reach them before them. So no matter what just keep posting videos and having fun! Honestly you can't expect to be big from one day to another neither to make youtube a career now. You have to wait, keep working hard for that 1 subscriber and then you will grow ^_^
haha thanks for the support man[DOUBLEPOST=1380766151][/DOUBLEPOST]All I'd suggest is that you have fun with the games you purchase - no matter when you purchase them! Refine your channel and your uploads for better SEO, and people will naturally find your content over time. And just remember:

I think you could of gotten away with 1 more if you ask me.[DOUBLEPOST=1380766286][/DOUBLEPOST]Just keep going!!! And don't compare yourself to the big dogs.. Every dog has it's day and one day you will get thrown a bone.. Ok enough Canine references.
Haha were all just new comers at youtube wanting to be the president, i understand.[DOUBLEPOST=1380766426][/DOUBLEPOST]I've never really stressed the numbers - if you love doing what you do, keep on doing it. Along the way you'll pick up tips and tricks on how to do it better, how to market it more, and how to win at Youtube.
Until then, keep having fun![]()
The other way around, but you always wanna aim to be the first person to do something. I mean, why not? Plus a feel as though these bigger people get the game early before release witch also isnt fair because they can put quality into quantity and release the video the second the game comes out.[DOUBLEPOST=1380766560][/DOUBLEPOST]That is the WORST option to get you fame or whatever.
Instead of me going into a long scramble of s**t I don't like, let me ask you this one question:
Would you sacrifice quality for quantity? Or the other way around?
What about that video where the kid shoved a remote up his a**? I forget what its called but some of those dumb viral videos took 5 seconds to make and then BOOM there 100 steps ahead of people who have put a lot of time into there videos.Have it easy, sure, but they worked their butts off to get there. Most larger channels have been around for years, and they all started with 0 subs, getting barely any views on their video. It's not like they became big super easy without putting work into it.
I can relate dude...but as has being said, don't dwell on it, rant and move on. For those who persevere, better themselves constantly and apply their intelligence...surely they must succeed in the end.I sware i'll get a video game the night it releases (midnight) and make a video on it and i get no good views but then the next day i'll see on youtube someone who has a big subscriber base upload some plain jane video of the new game and have like 100k or more views.. i mean i can't hate because im sure a majority of those people have gone the hard road just like us.. but it just sucks there voice is heard and mine isn't :/
Can anyone relate?
