Better the Voice, The More I'd Watch

I don't think I notice when someone has a nice voice, but I definitely notice when someone has a grating voice, especially girls. :embarrassed:

Yeah but when that accent means nobody can understand what the hell you're saying...

I just watched your Tom Hanks video. English is only my second language but I could still understand everything you said. Although some of the words took some "tame" to get at first But I'd say you get used to that quickly. I love hearing that accent.

Same!! I'm also Scottish, but my accent isn't too prominent so I think I can get away with it But having an accent is also a strength I think as some people's accents are soooo cool!! Accents make me sub!!

It's like real life I suppose. I find it difficult to be close friends with someone if I don't like their voice, particularly so if it's a potential girlfriend. lol I have even broken up with a girl because I couldn't stand her voice (although I never actually told her that was the reason)

It reminds me of a Seinfeld sketch about first dates where he says it's like a job interview for future life: "Can I live with that nose / hair / voice ?"

Yeah, I have to agree. Idc if you're funny, if you're voice is easy to listen to and your commentation is decent then I will subscribe. It's kinda soothing listening to some people's voices, lol...

I totally get that annoying voices are annoying. I'm the same way. Sometimes I'll come across a random video, and I'll start watching, but the voice of the person will ultimately turn me away from the video and channel overall. On the flip side of that, I watch TotalBiscuit because his voice is awesome, and I could literally listen to him talk all day.

I wouldn't blame anybody if they turned away from my videos because my voice is hella annoying. My own voice annoys me, so I'd totally get where they'd be coming from.

I just watched your Tom Hanks video and I understood a good 98% of what you said! Though this may not be a proper experiment because I'm sure I went in with a heightened intent. (Also, it was a funny video! I hope he steals your "Mr. Hanks, Tom Freakin'" license plate idea.)
