Services Banner?

Hey, I was trying to have a look at your channel to see what can be done but the link on your profile is broken. :(. I occasionally make banners for people.
 
Ok so I literally hate the adjusting system youtube has for banners, what does yours look like outside of youtube? do you use black bars to help it fit? I'm unsure how to get mine to fit perfectly?

There are templates you can download, or i believe YT still also provide measurements as well.
