Average growth speed?

Actually, different channels grow at different speed. Here's an example: gaming channels tend to grow faster than electronic channels. Also, one main factor is how hard you're promoting and how others think and act about your content. Will they like it? Will they share it?

To answer your original question, I started my channel in late Dec(around 2.5 months now) and I have 139 subs and over 6.6k views.

Well i started in like a couple of weeks one person sub. Now i have 13 subs but i'm currently in a stuck point. But like everyone else said it depends on the type of videos. Try experimenting with things. And also like what everyone else said. Look at your videos, analyze what attracts people, and make the improvements.

Depends on if you're new, and how you're advertising your channel. Building a fan base, is hard.
I've been there for a month, i got 57 subs and 1.8 views, my niche is hacking and tech, which is difficult, but i am using my blog ( which has around 1.5 k visitors per day ) to promote my videos. You have to do a research, and use all what you got, I mention my channel on twitter,fb, blog, and instagram. I know in a month or two i will probably have more than 100 k views.

I was always curious about this issue also, so great topic, and thanks everyone for sharing your stats!
I currently have 6 videos up, with 23 subscribers, and with much time invested in filming and editing videos, I thought it was rather slow process...but like everyone said, every channel grows at different rate, so I should be more focused on uploading good contents and promoting myself than comparing myself to others...=D
And congrats to you guys who have big number of subscribers already^_^!

I've been around for just a little bit over 2 months and am getting close to 4K views and 184-ish subscribers (should get to 200 soon)

But I've seen this one vlogger from a guy from Australia whose channel got 2000 subs and over 15K views just from 18 videos...thats when I feel I'm really slacking haha.
