Audio copyright? Help please!

Hi, so there was a funny scene from a reality show that I wanted to upload because, well, it was funny. I edited the clips together, and uploaded it. But it got blocked worldwide because the audio was copyrighted. I'm curious as to how I can get around this, I've seen other videos from reality shows and they haven't been removed, so I was wondering why mine always gets blocked. BTW, I'm not making money off my channel, if that helps.
 
Can you give us a bit more information as to if it's taken down by the Makers of the Reality show, or just by some random music company, or even by a whole different kind of company. My advice would be to look into the copyright of the Reality shows first, and then make a video ;)
 
The show is The Amazing Race (One of the big three from CBS) I upload the video and it gets immediately blocked worldwide. When I see why, it says something along the lines of "Audio has been recognized by the CID (Or something like that) and has been blocked worldwide" and so I delete it. I can get a screenshot if that helps.
 
Screenshot would help a ton, exact name of the claimer would be nice aswell ;)

Also if the claimer isn't CBS, I'd try to contact Youtube about it.. doesn't seem right then..

Making money or not doesn't matter. Fact is, you don't own the content and thus don't have the rights to upload it.

Trying to get a screenshot but the uploading is taking forever, I'll update when it gets there.

EDIT: It appears YouTube is being pushy today and the uploading is taking longer than usual. So I'll try again later today, and if it still takes a long time I'll wait until tomorrow.[DOUBLEPOST=1426608893,1426604492][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay, so I restarted my computer and I was able to upload and get the screenshot. Any ideas on what I can do?

CBS is really good about removing/blocking content that belongs to them. I know this from searching for clips from award shows or football games. The only way I've seen people get around this is if they record the clip using their phone or other camera and not using HQ capture devices.

But I've seen other clips from Survivor and Big Brother, so I don't understand why I can't upload from The Amazing Race. Could it be because I'm using a clip from the current season? The show hasn't ended yet so this might be why, do you think if I wait a week or two after the finale I'll be able to upload without a problem?
