At What point do the subscribers "start rolling in"?

There's too many variables to put an exact number on it, but the most effiecient way is to encourage your viewers to hit "share" as it will go on their social networks.
Chances are, if THEY are interested in your channel, their friends will be as well.
Why?
They wouldn't be friends if they didn't enjoy the same/similar things.

Thanks man, I recently tried employing that strategy by posting a small annotation about half way through the video (if they are interested they will still be watching) just saying if you like this video be sure to give it a like below and share it so more people can enjoy the video, or something along those lines. Ill let you know how that goes.

I don't think pride happens when you hit a specific number. If you haven't been proud of all the little milestones you reached already, then you won't ever be, because there could always be more...

Thats very true, and I can honestly say I have felt lots of pride, especially hitting the 100 and 500 mark. When I hit the 500 mark I was kind of just in awe that 500 people have actually chosen to get notified when I make something, 500 people actually want to watch a video of mine. I guess I was more implying when have you felt proud that the numbers you are getting are starting to get really big - if that makes sense.

3 a day wow id be doing summersaults round the house id be so happy, im wondering the same question but have a much less number of subs than you at around 10.

My channel KARL of DUTY (link isnt working)

I am getting about 3/4 subscribers on average per (every)day and i have only about 128 subscribers on Youtube.

The subscribers started truly "rolliing in" was about 2 months ago when i started following lots of people(followers of Small/Big Youtubers and people who likes Youtube) on Twitter and i get lots of followers nearly every day and each time i get a new follower they get a DM telling them to check out my Youtube channel(or now video in another DM).

Before i started that 2 months ago i was only getting 1/2 subscribers MAX per month and was not getting any video views(for a very long time) and since i started following lots of people and DM them telling them to check out my channel or new video on Twitter 2 months ago i am getting lots more video views and lots more subscribers on Youtube and i am getting credit for it and my Youtube channel is growing a lot more compared to 2 months ago which is great! :D

2 months ago i only had 25/26 subscribers and now i have about 128 subscribers on Youtube! :D :D

I am enjoying making Youtube videos a lot more now since i getting lot more subscribers and video views om Youtube. :)

In my experience the higher the amount of subscribers, the faster you grow. It is like a dragnet, the bigger the net (=subscriber count), the more fish (=new subscribers) you will catch. But does it really matter? I think not as long as you are having a blast.

To top it off, it really matters on how active you are, and how your content is perceived. If you stop "producing" you won't be gaining any new subscribers either.

All the guides say 100 is the first big threshold you need to pass as Youtube allegedly starts sending traffic your way after that.

I imagine it's like a snowball. Once you get say 10,000, you'll be getting a bunch a day and it'll keep growing faster and faster.

I think it really depends on the videos you are putting out, how often, and any collabs or anything. When I put a new video that gets better reviews I usually gain a steady number of subs per week.

But I also think that once you hit 1,000 or more subs start really rolling in.
