the WWE network

Um... yeah, no. I don't have anything against YouTube or anything, but, like. I don't watch it enough. Like me and my family watch wrestling all the time, so it's a no brainer we get the WWE Network. But, we aren't even subscribed to Netflix 'cause like, we don't watch much else. YouTube is just like, a thing on the internet. It's something I could live without, so it's not worth paying for.

I'm frustrated with the idea of a subscriber pool of money that is then doled out. If it was individualized so that the money from my subscription was split by watch time among the channels that I watch, I'd sign up in a heart beat. Directly being able to support content creators that I enjoy is an awesome concept.

But having it be a big pool of resources homogenizes the whole thing and reduces the individual impact of Red subscriptions on channels with small but dedicated audiences. Then you're no longer really supporting your favorite creators, your money rather is potentially going to support people you don't even watch which is nonsense in my view.
is it a pool of money being shared with everyone though? considering that youtube tracks each individuals watch time on various channels easily with analytics, it should be easy enough for them to be able to pay the subscription leftovers to the correct channels regarding the viewers watch time on each.

Right now I say never because it would take a significant portion of my YouTube earnings. But, if I where to do better down the line I'd probably subscribe just so I don't have to watch commercials anymore when I catch up with my favorite YouTubers.

When and if they have exclusive content from Youtubers I follow I might consider it. $120 a year just to remove ads which do not bother me one single bit and what if I don't watch Youtube for a week I'd feel like I was wasting my subscription. As it stands now I have no commitment or feeling I need to "get my money's worth" out of Youtube. I like the ads on Youtube I've even sat through 4+ minutes on here in my garage..

I'm not going to be subscribing to it, it just doesn't seem worth it. Looking at the results, I wonder if there will be enough people with Youtube Red to even justify making "exclusive content."

I just do not have the cash flow this subscription demands. I even had to cancel my subscription to Chicken Soup for YouTube Creators.

I'll sign up if it means I get free music. I already have a Spotify subscription for the same price, so if YouTube Red means music AND ad-free videos, I'll surely pick that.

Got in on day one. Love it. We watch a ton of YouTube in this house. A ton. Ads did bother us, and we're already spoiled by not having to sit through them. It's way worth it for us. And google play music is is the cherry on top.
