Are the 100 subs really the hardest

No, in my opinion not, I think the struggle is to 1000. After that people will probably be more willing to subscribe to you, probably a psychological barrier. And don't expect any magic either at 100 or 1000, I haven't noticed a thing different after those marks.

No, from my experience. That's the easiest part, when you hit 100, that's the indication that you're at least getting an attraction from viewers considering that we are small channel without this self promotion to everywhere, again that's just from my experience. It becomes hard when your intention is just to get subscribers not providing content that viewers want to see. Some people tried really hard to get subscribers without thinking first to make their content better.

Want to know if that is the experience most people had, and does it get easier right after. I asking cause i read an article saaying this.

It depends on whether you put out quality content and have a good personality. You can have the most visually pleasing videos, but if you are boring then you won't be very successful. You just have to put in effort and over time people will notice it. You could also collaborate with people and that will help get your name out there. In a nutshell, it really depends on how social you are on YouTube. If you don't upload much then it will be harder to find one of your videos. If you don't talk to other content creators you won't be able to get your name out there as fast as you may want. Just keep at it and do your best! Best of luck!

I've stumbled across channels that have tons of views, but few subscribers. I've also seen the opposite. I'm still crawling to 100.

The 100 susbs depends on you mostly. If you don't put out a lot of content then you will have trouble getting subs. The more work you put into it, the more your channel get's exposed. That's how I think of it.

100 subs are the most difficult, you start out as a stranger nobody knows about, slowly more and more people know you and then your more well known and so it's easier to grow after 100 subs.

I agree. Once you hit those first 100. People start watching and commenting on your videos. Just keep working hard. You will get more subs eventually.

That's what big YouTubers say a lot. I'm at 30 subscribers. I'm growing really slowly, though.
